There is only one adaptation of Lady Susan, Whit Stillman’s 2016 film entitled Love & Friendship (taken from the title of one of Austen’s juvenile stories, “Love and Freindship”). Stillman’s Metropolitan has a loose affiliation with Austen’s Mansfield Park but this is a genuine adaptation. And it’s funny. Beckinsale is far more suited for this character than Emma Woodhouse.
